I find the idea that private school education is automatically of more value than that from a public school patently absurd. Of more value on a resume, and of great value in networking - of course.
Heck, imagine how confused I am - I went to private kindergarten, public school from 1-4th grade, private school from 5-11th grade, then graduated from a public school. :zoinks:

And then we have my poor son who went to public school until HS and then graduated from a Charter school.

We're lost souls - we don't know where we fit on the graph. :(
I went to a suburban public school that had two-hour comprehensive finals each semester. I had friends come back from their first couple of year at Princeton and MIT swearing that none of their finals to that point had been as difficult as what we had in our senior year in high school.

My daughter graduated from an urban magnet school (in a class of 64) that sent about one-third of its graduates to Ivy League schools.

Are these typical? Nope. But when you get right down to it, I firmly believe that you were right in an earlier post when you said that there are illiterates who have a far better grasp on reality than many of the most educated people I know.

I've always operated under the (Mark Twain?) idea that I never let school interfere much with my education.

Hey buffy ... you quote one instance of a leftist academic who fabricated figures about a subject that gets you aroused (guns), and use that as some sort of proof that all academics - or at least all leftist academics - falsify information, and you have the gall to denigrate public school education?

Have daddy ask for his money back.
PD, one example is all it took to refute that jackass' ridiculous statement that there is a checks and balances system which makes academic fraud impossible. That's all my intention was.

I can give you numberous examples of right-wing ideologues fabricating and distorting statistics in academia too.

He says academic fraud doesn't exist, I say it is rampant. I believe it's more rampant in some areas than others, and those areas are the ones controlled by agenda-driven leftists, but that's my opinion, it would be hard to prove; whereas, proving that fraud exists is much easier.

Summary: Idiot made stupid claim. I proved claim false with one example.

I never said "all leftist academics" do anything. I had two exceptional neo-Marxian (their word) Philosophy Profs, Dr. Vogt -- an Austrian guy and Dr. Mu, a Chinese woman, who used were as biased as the day is long. Yet, they were/are great teachers and completely academically honest. They exposed me to post-modern thought.

PD, Labret is a jackass, why would you want to take up for him?
Please consider it more a defense of my humble public school education.

I find the idea that private school education is automatically of more value than that from a public school patently absurd. Of more value on a resume, and of great value in networking - of course.

Frankly, the condescending arrogance that [labert] maintains in most of his posts isn't much different from yours in regards to public schools. Had I not read his posts I would have suspected private schools, perhaps Jesuits.
The public schools are too politicized and buried under too much bureacracy to be as effective as private schools.

Besides, PD, I mostly use it as a barb -- I'm not nearly as elitist as I act like here.

I proved that there are frauds in academia who make up stats and facts, something you said doesn't happen.

He taught at a university. Therefore, someone who taught at a university manufactured stats and facts.

You are an idiot. You can't win. You will never win.

How are your social justice classes going?

I have never heard of social justice. Stop making things up. Wait, look who I am asking.

I said you will not find rampant fraud "within" academia. Had his book gone before a review, as in an academic journal, it never would have made it to market and you wouldnt be able to dance around with it. He was a dumbfuck that thought because he was not subject to the checks and balances he would receive within academia he could further his agenda. Academia smoked him out.

If I started raping goats could you make the conclusion that goat raping is rampant in academia?

This is becoming redundant.
While I know there is fraud in the system, I've personally worked with a lot of people who've ran into hard times, I'm met a LOT who simply need a little help getting back on their feet and are trying their damnedest to do it...

I've also had to deal with a lot of people with various mental disorders (not including myself ;-)) and these are the people who are forgotten when we talk about welfare and medical handouts...for every "able bodied" person mooching off the system, I can find equal numbers or even more who suffer from various mental problems...

While I don't believe in cradle to grave handouts, I see no societal problem with helping our less fortunate..many many of whom just need a little help once in awhile, especially if they are faced with mental problems which have a lot to do with things like the ability to hold a job or even a conversation.

Having spent a lot of time helping out in homeless shelters, I've come across people who've lost their homes and have problems getting back on their feet (hard to get a job without a phone and an address).

It's easy to say "well, they made a choice, now live with it" but should someone lose thier whole life over a mistake? Once beyond that point, they might just need a simple handup and are more than happy to work for it.

Isn't it ironic than Ronald Reagen cut spending on mental health programs and now suffers from alzheimers?

as for my nurturing, my mother isn't very politcal at all but is pretty mucha liberal, help your fello man type of person and my father went into Vietnam a red, white and blue conservative loe it or leave it type guy and came out a very changed man and very liberal but the last decade or so hasn't really voted along any party line...
I fail to see what gives you the right to project your moral compass of "helping those less fortunate" on to other people (taxpayers). Therein lies the double standard of the liberal (just like the idiotic double standard of the conservative).

Logically, how do you disregard the moral standards of the conservative right while embracing those of the liberal left? You don't want the conservative right reaching into your life and telling you how you can access porn, who you can sleep with, what a woman can do with her body, etc....YET...you have no problem reaching into those conservative pockets to gather funds to "help the less fortunate"...even though they may disagree with YOU...

The theory that YOU (liberal YOU) know what's right for society and that your OPINION that someone shouldn't lose everything over a "mistake" or "choice" they have made, and that taxpayers who may not share this same view should shut up and pay anyway, is in complete contradiction to the ire expressed at the conservative right.

When you don't see anything wrong with one group of society FORCING their ideals on you ("I see no societal problem with helping our less fortunate" - Sykk), yet you moan and complain incessantly at the unfairness of the OTHER side trying to force THEIR morality on you, you walk the slippery slopes of a contradiction you can't escape from.
As Sykk appears to be unavailable for response at this time, how about another liberal taking a stab at the above? If you agree with Sykk that it's okay to force others into your ideals (helping the less fortunate thru the forced taxation of others), how do you logically admonish the conservative right for wanting to do away with porn? Both sides believe they are doing what's best for society in general (how convenient for them). There is no difference in either argument. How do you justify the contradiction?

How can you even understand a book or a movie for that matter just one time?

I am one of those who underline passages on nearly every page i read in every book.

all my books are filled with place holders and underlined parts with notes on the side.

i dont read, i study a book when i pick it up.

how else can you learn from it?
Don't forget, I'm dumb. B)

Quite honestly, I rarely read books to "learn". While there ARE some which I enjoy learning from, I almost always read for strictly for entertainment. My attention span is short so magazine, newspaper, internet articles hold my interest better and teach me more than reading a book would do.
Even reading for entertainment purposes I often read things twice. Hell, I have books I've read 15-20 times because I enjoy them so much.

Because it's no more "forced" than me being "forced" to pay for something that I walk out of a store with.

In Australia my taxes go towards lots of things I like - parks, roads, medical care for all, libraries, art galleries etc. I am getting something for my money. Hell, I don't even mind paying for welfare. What do I get out of that? I don't have to see people with styrofoam coffee cups begging for money on the streets of my city.

Sure I end up contributing to things I don't like but I'd still rather pay for welfare than warmongering.

My son can read books, watch movies, TV shows, etc. tens and tens of times. I just can't. I need something to really hold my attention, and when I already know what's going to happen, I lose all interest. :(

There are a handful of movies I can watch more than once - Shawshank and Princess Bride are two I can think of off the bat, and I can watch repeats of West Wing for some reason, but the vast majority just bore me after the first time. I can't read ANY book more than once and I've tried.

Why is it only the left who are into "forced" taxation?

How much is this war costing again? Who is paying for it? Where is the money coming from?
I don't contend that only the left is into forced taxation. The right is equally slimy in principle, but in action, their ideology is to steal LESS.

Why do you use "forced" as if it's really not by force?
Because it's no more "forced" than me being "forced" to pay for something that I walk out of a store with.

In Australia my taxes go towards lots of things I like - parks, roads, medical care for all, libraries, art galleries etc. I am getting something for my money. Hell, I don't even mind paying for welfare. What do I get out of that? I don't have to see people with styrofoam coffee cups begging for money on the streets of my city.
Wow!

What happens if you don't pay your taxes in Oz?
You get in trouble.

Not paying for services I want and use that are provided by the government is theft I guess.

If you choose not to buy something at the store, the shopkeeper will not come to your house with a gun and force you to buy it.

Should you choose not to pay the percentage of taxes that goes to fund abortions because you are morally opposed to them, the government WILL come and get you.

Your illusions of force and choice are interesting...

What about people that might like to see homeless people on the sidewalk and more money in their bank account? You feel it is your right to impose on them YOUR desire not to see styrofoam coffee cups, through taxation for programs YOU believe in. Therefore, the religious right and you are on the same moral ground. Congratulations for joining them in their piety.

What about books of essays?

Not the after reading them the FIRST time, which I believe is what the discussion is about. Of course books catch my attention - I read all the time. B)

You don't pay your taxes... they send you a bill.

You still don't pay... they issue an arrest warrant.

You refuse to be arrested... they force you to comply using a gun if necessary.

Even reading for entertainment purposes I often read things twice. Hell, I have books I've read 15-20 times because I enjoy them so much.

Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute, she was a pagan priestess.

no prositute was given 2 names in the old days.

One of the legitimate uses of tax money is national (or local) defense. The military, police, fire, etc....are universally absorbed in cost (but not equally). Your question begets the question, is the war in the security interests of the nation? If the answer is yes, you have your answer. If the answer is no, you have your answer also.

I think you could make a legitimate argument that YES, paying taxes for a war that was not strictly defensive in nature would be theft from people who did not support attacking another nation.

Consistency is a bitch.....people should try it some time.

True, she was a referred to as being "demon possessed" but many believe she was the prostitute referred to in the Bible who washed Jesus's feet with her hair.

Arguing about the Bible isn't something I plan to pursue. IMHO, the Bible means different things to everyone and for every reference you can show that says one thing, I can more than likely you find you another reference which will completely dispute it. :awinky:

Really, i cant argue with someone who doesnt really know anything about this subject.

Ive read books solely on Mary Magdalene, and am also into the history owhat she practised.

Here's a starting point.

http://www.thewhitemoon.com/mary/magdalene.html

If you can even read the whole thing.

I have EVEn read the texts called "Gospel According TO mary Magdalene"

Some more books on her?

http://bookstore.religionbooks.us/subject_...y_magdalene.htm (http://bookstore.religionbooks.us/subject_mary_magdalene.htm)

I have read i think over 7 books on her alone.

I will NOT waste my time arguing about if she was or was not a prostitute with someone who clearly has no knowledge of the subject.

go read and then we can have an intelligent discussion about Mary.

See this is the problem, what is a legitimate use of tax money is something that is personal opinion.

As far as I am concerned, socialised medicine is a legitimate use of tax money. I also support things like government funding for the arts. Here in Australia we have an entire television network (ABC) that is taxpayer funded and I don't know ANY Australian who wants to see that change because it is well worth the money.

Legitimate use of tax money? Depends on what you believe.

Diamond Jim,

My feeling on the matter is that government is evil and should be disbanded, but if I am going to be robbed, I want the proceeds going toward 2 things:

1) Investigating and destroying the lives of politicians

2) Killing people who are trying to kill me

First of all, while the idea that taxation=theft may SOUND nice, in reality it's bogus. I don't even consider the money Bush is sending to the so-called faith based groups as 'stolen" from me. I sure as fuck don't like it - but it's not being stolen.

And I have never heard that Magdaline was a pagan princess, but I have heard that much scholoarship has been done on her in recent years, and it seems that the whole "Magdaline as prostitute" story may be a papist concoction from the 3rd century.

If you don't think you should pay taxes then you should stop using government services and infrastructure.

You can start by not driving on the roads or using the toilet because the sewerage system is government funded. For someone who is as full of shit as you are this may be difficult.

What would a group of guys do to a weoman who was held over them by jesus?

They labeled her a prostitue to kill her name and what she did.

After christs death, the disciples fought for control, and this should be of no surprise.

As I have said, read, then we can discuss it.

Well, if you want to have a discussion you should at least know something about the topic.

Spouting off she was a possessed prostitute right off the bat to someone who has is genuinely interested in the topic isnt really going to get you far, or impress anyone.

So now, not even the bible and its charachters can be intelligent discussion, this is why we could never have an intelligent discussion.

You couldnt be part of an intelligent discussion.

Youve made this quite obvious.

Actually, I agree with you....it IS my opinion only.

I am willing to entertain the concept that you can opt-out of any social safety net, including something as basic as police or fire support, just as I think you should be able to opt out of funding liberal arts. If you don't want to pay, no liberal television network for you! Similarly, if you don't believe in the concept of paying for the police dept, they don't come to your house if needed and don't investigate if you are robbed or shot in the face.

As I've stated before, we have the unfortunate task of choosing between philosophical ideals and practical reality. My question has been, and continues to be for the purpose of this thread, HOW do people come to the conclusions and contradictions that they do? What force acts upon them to help them determine that THEY are right and others are wrong?

And I have never heard that Magdaline was a pagan princess, but I have heard that much scholoarship has been done on her in recent years, and it seems that the whole "Magdaline as prostitute" story may be a papist concoction from the 3rd century.
Go read those books, dammit! That's the only way you can hope to have an "intelligent discussion" about her with the resident expert. :o

:awinky:
I'm sorry ... I'm in the middle of DeGaulle's memoirs, 2/3rds of the way through a book on the Civil Rights movement from 1963-1965, am re-re-re-reading "The Cardinal and The Kremlin", and anxiously awaiting tonights' episode of NYPD Blue.

I will, however put it on my to-do list, with at LEAST as high a priority as you do.

Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute, she was a pagan priestess.

no prositute was given 2 names in the old days.

I will NOT waste my time arguing about if she was or was not a prostitute with someone who clearly has no knowledge of the subject.

go read and then we can have an intelligent discussion about Mary.
ahahahhahahahaha Phuleeeze your primary reference is written by :-

""Amy Topham (Lotus Moonwise)

Amy Topham is 25 years old and lives in Beaverton, Oregon with her husband, Keith (who she met online) and her three children, Cameron (7), Duncan (6) and Shannon (3). She unschools her children year-round. She has been a spiritual seeker all her life, and her current focus is on teaching others through her experiences and through writing, and is currently attending school to become a licensed massage therapist. She follows an eclectic Pagan path and is currently going through a course of study to become a High Priestess. She also is interested in working with highly aware children and creating a "freeschool" for them in her local area. Her dream is to open a Mind/Body/Spirit Wellness Center and to create a loving community."""""""

Classic!!!

I'm convinved!

Actually, aren't there often allegations of that from the right? Isn't there a mini- "Blair v BBS' style controversy going on over ABC coverage of the war? At least, I thought I'd heard some discussion of it on ABC - I generally listen to it an hour or so a day.

So according to your logic, when Bush uses the tax money of those who are opposed to war to fight a war he is stealing from those people?
One of the legitimate uses of tax money is national (or local) defense.

Unfortunately, those of us who don't believe there are any legitimate uses of tax money don't get to opt out of paying taxes.
If you don't think you should pay taxes then you should stop using government services and infrastructure.

You can start by not driving on the roads or using the toilet because the sewerage system is government funded. For someone who is as full of shit as you are this may be difficult.
Stupid argument. Government has madated, by law, monopolies in those areas. If I want to take a shit, I have to use the government sewerage company. Try to start your own sewage company and lay pipes and such and see what happens.

PornoDoggy, we're talking about the Australian Broadcasting Corporation here - Australia's taxpayer funded television network.

So according to your logic, when Bush uses the tax money of those who are opposed to war to fight a war he is stealing from those people?
One of the legitimate uses of tax money is national (or local) defense.

So you think there's room for more players in the sewerage industry?

Think the post office could compete with private companies if there were no law forbidding any private entities from delivering 1st class mail?

Yes there have been allegations of biased war coverage on the ABC... by one minister. You can read the Media Watch's take on it here: http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcrip...pts/s981335.htm (http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcripts/s981335.htm)

PD, how is it not being stolen? Who willingly pays taxes? Very few people. Most of us who pay our taxes do so out of fear of being thrown in jail.

That's theft, buddy, just as much as if you pay some mobster in the protection racket so he doesn't beat your ass.
Whatever, Buff. I don't see it that way. I mean, like Communism, the designated hitter, and military intelligence, it sounds good in theory - but as a practical matter it's absurd.

No, I'm not smiling when I put the tax check in the mail - as a matter of fact, I want Diamond Jim to pay more so that I can pay less.

No ... I have known about the ABC since the days I was playing around with a short-wave radio. As I said, I listen for an hour or so most nights as I am working. Of course, I also listen to the BBC, Israeli radio, and a couple of Eurpoean radio stations too.

Believe it or not, I even knew that the liberals were the conservatives. Now, if I was a smartass, I'd suggest that this is only appropriate for a country that is upside down ... :)

I know who won the last presidential election.

Why? Well that'll just be my opinion won't it, Serge?

You can't win a bet based on my opinion versus your opinion.
Joe...I seeded ONE "hmmm.." today,
and I had a late lunch. I usually don't have lunches, they exhaust me.
I had lunch because this "hmmm..." wasn't a walk in the park.

do you mind if I recouperate a little BEFORE I attempt to put the second "hmmm.."?

I'm sure you'll use this break to analyze the difference between your
"I KNOW" and "My Opinion"

Second leaves room for debate,
the first assumes the possession of the undisputable FACT.

so, what is it, KNOW which is undisputed or Opinion which can be changed?
Are you telling me there are no undisputable facts, Serge?
Hey now Fletch! Men taught women how to stalk!

The majority of men on the internet want crazy stalkers in their life who will scare the hell out of them. Then the men can temporarily get their minds off their business and money problems. The world is very stressful.

However, how do you close the door on a stalker? Look at all the politicians who are handling world events who are either stalking or being stalked. On the Today Show this morning, a former Judge was talking about the book he wrote, and he went to prison for stalking someone. He talk Couric that he was bi-polar. That is what I'm accused of being. I refuse to be dumped in a *bi-polar* bin with ex-convicts.

I saw on CNN that in certain prisons, they are experimenting with different types of music to discover what is the best music to play on the loud speakers for the violent prisoners like murderers; also stalkers, rapists, and gang related criminals.

Does rap calm anyone down??????????

yes, and from what I know you are correct.

Los Angeles has departments other places dont hahah

When you call the LA police dept i swear they have push menus with choices. its funny to listen to them.

I recently called and had to make the choice 'illegal street vending' some mexican woman decided she wanted to set up shop and sell clothes a couple blocks away on the sidewalk.

I couldnt believe 'illegal street vending' was actually choice 3! Up at the top because its so common.

Because the Valley area of Los Angeles is known for being the car hijack capital of the country, there is now a special team that goes out into the neighborhoods and encourages the teenagers to sell their spinning hubcaps which cost anywhere from $250 to $500 each. Everyone wants those sexy things.

I wonder if MikeAI still has his or has somebody swiped them? I love them, but they do attract attention, and most of the attention is from those who want to take them from you. :(

There's more crime than they can keep up with out here. I see crack deals go down on the streets all the time... not enough cops.

I actually lock my car doors when I am out by myself. Driving that is.

Cherry, several years ago a friend gave me a scanner when I was stuck at home with a broken leg. That is how I discovered underground ham radio. I was scanning away and all I heard were the police. When I listened to the cellphone frequencies, I heard the drug deals going down. I got hooked on scanners.

Now, LAPD and many of the police depts in local cities have gone digital. You can still modify your scanners so you can pick up all your favorite hot spots, but you have to spend some money buying the newer more expensive equipment.

Late at night when I can't sleep, it's either Art Bell or scanners that put me to sleep. :okthumb:

Whwere does Art Bell still do shows?

I thought he stopped a long time ago?

I used to call people on the phone that he would have as guests.

remember the guy who said he had a piece of a spaceship? I cant recall his name, but he wrote a paper in the 70s about 'Star Particle Theories'

I called the guy on the phone and talked to him for a couple hours.

fun times those late nights with the freaks.

Fletch, the ham radio guys have always loved Art Bell. Art is a ham and loves radios, as you know. His back has been giving him hell for years. So a year ago, he walked away from his show and George Noory took over. Then, a few months ago, Art returned. He now does the Sat & Sun night shows. I listen on KFI-640 a.m. You can listen on the internet.
http://www.kfi640.com & you can read about the shows on: http://www.coasttocoastam.com

Sunday night, Art had on a guest I have been wanting to hear for a long time. I missed it. I'm still kicking myself. You would have loved this show.

The Coast to Coast show comes on KFI nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. It repeats at 2 a.m.

Interesting stuff.

One of my best friends is living with a 25 yo LAPD beat cop. I've only met him a couple times, interesting to hear his stories.

He said anytime something goes down in a busy area, people run outside and set up their tripods and start taping. ha ha ha

Labret seems to think he is educated, as does Pd...yet neither of them does research, They just spout off in typical Lib fashion, assuming that their bullshit will be accepted because they call names and scream about how intelligent they are.

Labret comes off as a true product of our Liberal-controlled education system (I would guess about a sophomore in HS); and Pd...I haven't made up my mind about him, yet. Is he really stupid, or is he a Lib politician in disguise? Both have one thing in common, though. They seem to believe that Socialism/Communism can work.

I must say, though, I find their anger and hatred entertaining...Keep it up, guys; but vary the rhetoric sometimes, so we don't get bored. :nyanya: :nyanya: :nyanya:

Tell me grandpa, how do all these governments that fall along the socialist continuum around the world manage to do it? Stay afloat that is.

Nobody will know if communism will work as I am unaware of any true communist experiment on a nation state level.

PD, IMNSHO, is one of the more intelligent posters around. Doggedly liberal, yes....stupid, no...

PD is one of the people that makes me ask the original question...

After studying PD's responses to most topics, I get the impression he is somewhat forced into liberalism by default, due to core disagreements with what he considers conservative ideologies. Despite what his answers might be, I don't think he's a "true believer"....

Oh I am an anti-Christ
And I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want
But I know how to get it
I wanna destroy the passers by
'Cause I, I wanna be, anarchy
In this fuckin' city

Anarchy for the USA
It's coming sometime, maybe
Give the wrong time
Stop a traffic line
Your future dream is a shopping scheme
'Cause I wanna be,

There are many ways to get what you want I use the best,
well I use the rest
Well I use the enemy
I use anarchy
'Cause I, I wanna be, anarchy
Fuck the rat race man

Who cares what you like Joe

Swallow this for a while

These triumphs and successes
Just lead to bigger messes
Once blessed and bound for glory
But that's another story

All your dreams will fall apart
Your fondest wishes too
And the fears you thought you conquered
Will be right here when they do

Whispers of a history
You’d left for dead and gone
Like the little bird who told me
That you ain’t no fuckin’ swan

Self-taught and -referential
Drunk on your own potential
That cruel and patient chuckling
Is just your inner duckling

Eager to expose you
For the hero that you’re not
And remind you in its lullabies
Of failures you’d forgot

Do you even know who the last 2 quotes came from?

Very witty, enlightening lyrics and a cool/great live act

Do you see anything that achieves any commercial success as automatically distasteful or poor quality?

Anarchy in the UK was a very strong song (however contrived) when in came out

and the Ramones being the first reconized Punk Rock band was just the short answer to question,
the real answer is much longer and would take thousands of words - and if you don't get it, you don't get it
It's a case of if you have to ask, you'll never know

Fletch, said it before but if we're ever in the same town and you're inclined I'm up for hoisting a few and hear what your take is on the evolution of music and maybe check out a show

When it come to music I'm always up for new influences and experiences

I listen to a lot of different stuff, I find great players in all genres of music even in stuff I don't really enjoy

You telling someone to vary the rhetoric is about like getting a celebrecy lecture from Wm. Jefferson Clinton.

You flatter yourself, I am a MORON,, if you think I "hate" you.

When I was a kid I hated Juan Marichal (sp), who pitched for the Giants and had some amazing pitchers duals (and fights) with Bob Gibson and the Cardinals.

That's a particularly relevant memory because your political rhetoric comes from the same era - about 1965 - still looking for Communists behind everything you don't like ... and as time goes on I suspect that becomes more and more.

And as far as the "Punks not dead" ... more's the pity.

I'm gonna fight 'em off
A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
They're gonna rip it off
Taking their time right behind my back
And I'm talkin' to myself at night
Because I can't forget
Back and forth through my mind
Behind a cigarette

And the message comin' from my eyes says leave it alone...

Don't wanna hear about it
Every single one's got a story to tell
Everyone knows about it
From the Queen of England to the hounds of hell

And if I catch you comin' back my way
I'm gonna serve it to you
And that ain't what you want to hear
But that's what I'll do

And the feeling coming from my bones says find a home...

I'm going to Wichita
Far from this opera for evermore
I'm gonna work the saw
Make a sweat drip out of every pore

And I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding
Right before the lord
All the words are gonna bleed from me
And I will think no more

And the stains comin' from my blood tell me "Go back home"...
