There won't be a thinning. 99.99% of the people that have Adult websites do it for fun or for beer money. It isn't a career for them, and they could really care less about it, or us. With the price of bandwidth so low, if not free in many cases, the ease of getting billing, and the proliferation of "content plug-ins", we will still have to put up with more and more.
We are getting 2 or 3 people contacting us every day now about starting their own websites, or looking for work in the industry (not as performers, but as photographers, designers, and erotic writers).
I remember way back when, when the US government was talking about licensing websites, I was all for it. I was praying for something like a $100,000. a year, yearly fee to operate. That would have been great! (
but not at all practical in the real world)
