Nope, most body jewelry are made from surgical steel. That doen't set off metal detectors. It would suck if she needed to go in for surgery, she'd have to take 'em all out (in the event Docs gotta use a heart defibrillator).

Piercings need to be kept clean, no matter how long you have 'em.
