World's Most Pierced Woman Tops 6,000 Piercings.
According to the
Guiness Book of World Records,
Elaine Davidson is the world's most pierced woman. The former nurse from Brazil originally got that title in 2000, when she had 462 piercings, including 192 in her face. Davidson has been adding to her piercings ever since, and the
U.K. Telegraph reports that she recently brought the total to 6,005. Oddly, Davidson claims that she dislikes getting pierced, and only does it for her art. "I don't enjoy getting pierced, but to break the record you have to get to a high level," she told the Telegraph. "I wanted to break the record"
