The marketing issues are these:

- Zip codes (don't ship to those bad zip codes, don't ship to any place that sex toys are outlawed or restricted or require a special permit to sell).

- Anonymous status of users broken - not only are you getting their credit card, but you are sending the postman to their door with something.

- Timing: It takes X days to get the item to the end user, in which time they have lost their boner and they just don't spend.

I am confident there is a solid number of people out there willing to pay for these things and willing to recur, but I see this way more as something that is sold in sex shops and such, pretty much cutting the affiliate out of the deal.
