You keep looking for quantative and definitive answers for questions that do not have them.
On thing you should have figured out by now is that there is no set formula for success in this biz. You simply have to put it out there. See what works for you. Repeat and build upon those that do, drop those that don't.
If you're not comfortable with that, then don't give up your day job.
