Free Speech isn't an absolute. Please consider the ideas of libel or slander. With absolute free speech, neither of those two things could exist. Proof as it were that all the huffing and puffing it but lawyerly hot air. |
There is a big difference between teaching it in school and blowing smoke in public. It is the overall spin of "holocaust" deniar that I object to. I want kids to be taught the facts as well as we know them as well as educate them well enough to recognise guys like these. However calling a holocaust, "the" holocaust and teaching that in school is using words as weapons and I object to that as well. I don't deny that a holocaust took place. I also believe man landed on the moon. And maybe there is a Sasquatch. However, just denying a holocaust is not grounds for conviction of anything.
