We always did great business during the Players Ball, it was just never at the Players Ball! You never know though, if the Playas stop attending, and people can go in the spirit of a true Players Ball, I may just attend one year.
It's like that self-congratulatory circle-jerk called the XBiz awards. I'm still surprised so many people take that crap seriously and act like it means something! I would feel foolish actually going to that. It's like the old AVN Internet awards, when CE won for "Fuck Force Five" before the site was even released! I had hoped that was the end of those silly awards shows (
and Carol won 2 AVN's and 4 WebExpo awards!). Thinking about it, our industry really is full of shit on so many levels
