I wasn't setting conditions, RCourt, I was asking a question, because I would prefer not to have to defend a point that is pretty immaterial.
I frankly had no expectations of any sort of commentary on something as mundane as an avatar photo I added to my profile so people would know whith whom they were speaking. As it was brought up by others - I go to shows, and I added a photo simply to facilitate meeting people I interact with on the boards at those same shows. That's all and nothing more. The photo itself was a snap I took one morning in my bathroom, of all places, because I thought my hair looked particularly nice - and it's one of the most recent pictures I have of me.
I appreciate the nice comments, and harbour no ill will. I just didn't see much point in harping on it. I'm here to meet people, get some work done, and answer questions about my company/ program/ whatnot - and people like to know with whom they are speaking. Thanks for understanding.
