We live in an odd industry where one of the primary job requirements of marketing directors is often to figure out how to throw a "talked about" party, buy everyone drinks, and be considered "top notch" after the show by everyone on GFY.

How do you measure ROI on something like that? "Hey, we didn't gain any new business, but the kids on GFY sure do think we're cool now!"
