Good for him.
Love him or hate him, the guy has worked his ass off to get where he is. He's lived and breathed that company. At some point, for the sake of health and family you gotta throttle it back a little bit, enjoy life and do what you WANT to do.
Paul Allen did it right in my opinion. Once the challenge has been met and the fortune has been made, retire and have a really good time putting the money into things you find interesting.
