If her money is tied up in stocks, it's not something that's easily accessible. If her husband's business is making money, she may not have a check sitting in front of her.
Bottom line - if you want to donate, do it, but attacking her for doing whatever she needs to do to take care of her kids isn't worth anyone's effort, IMO.

What a crock!! It is easy to sell stock, just put in a sell order. It is easy to justify and make excuses. I promise you that Asia has made significantly more money then You or Gonzo the past 10 years and I doubt she would be first in line to bail you guys out.
This is a lesson that people should have plans, life insurance and other necessities of life set up when bad things happen.
Let's face it, in this life it is not a matter of IF something bad will happen, but rather WHEN.
