We have their MG special but upgraded to get 5 gb of space and 170 gb of bandwidth per month. We've spent about $400 for a 3 yr package that started in the summer of '05.
Will need a package that totals aproximately 30 domains. Around 20 paysites, a few tgp's, a few storefronts for toystores and vod's. Finally affiliate programs and corporate stuff should add up pretty quickly to about 30 domains total. Virtual is what we will prolly need for a while.
Will begin negotiations to opt out of the contract with them and beginning anew in Feb 1. We will pay for any service that is fast, doesnt go down, has all the buttons and whistles we need and a tech support staff that actually answers their phone. These guys dont and subsequently they have lost my business. |
Never go for the guy with the cheapest price...and if you need paysite bandwidth, virtual hosting will be the death of you...
There have been some great recomendations here of higher end professional hosting companies that have experience hosting paysites. Use them.
