Who say they went bowling or whatever as to not they actually went to the live peep show or the strip club. Etc.
So yeah, right, they're going to all write Congress? With their names attached? ROTFL!
Come on now, JR. Everything else you said there is pretty much on the button, but -- you know, I know, we all know -- when it comes to porn that what people want is not something they will ever admit that they want.
Not publicly, at least they won't. But by sales, privately and en mass, and to the tune of $10 billion+ yearly, by voting with their hard-earned dollars -- we know they want porn. Hell, we wouldn't be in this industry otherwise.

i am not arguing with you.. you are proving my point. when its important, people get upset and take action and cause change. thats how the system works. the same populace that causes chargebacks because they dont want their wife to know about their porn surfing has no problems going out in the hundreds of thousands to protest clubbing baby seals, stop whaling, stop a nuclear powerplant from being built, protest against a war, fight to have legislation rescinded or whatever.
again.. the basic assumption in your remarks is that people care as much as you do, but they are just too stupid, too lazy and to unorganized and to fight for change.
if people are not upset enough to fight for change... its not Bush's fault. thats the deal. their will always be another "bush". the system as it was designed by our forefathers had nothing to do faith in voters to choose the perfect president and that he would act perfectly. the system was designed with a complex system of checks and balances under the basic assumption that people in general are flawed and will generally behave as such.
