Ermmm...gee...I'd love to, really, I would...but I think I'm having emergency surgery that night.
I'll perform it myself if I have to. Those phone calls were hell. Absolute, unadulterated hell. The nicely delivered, accented compliment saying "you're the only one that can keep us on track, Morgan" was wonderful, really, it meant a lot (seriously, it did, I had an agenda and by heavens, we were going to stick to it)...but what I had to go through to get it was...torture.
