Okay, in line with Nick's request for a good business thread to amuse us over the weekend....here's my attempt...
I'm sure we've all come across sites that are a 'hit' off the get go...whether they are amusing, or helpful in some way....that all of a sudden are swamped with media curiosity, traffic and $.
3 weeks ago a guy started this site:
http://milliondollarhomepage.com . In 3 weeks he's managed to make over 100k US. He's been mentioned in the UK media and the site's popularity soared.
Was he just lucky? Smart? Did he have that creative edge?
Do you think an Opranaut has the smarts/creativity/balls to mirror his success?
