Back in Catechism class I had trouble with the whole "poof" theory of creation, especially the Garden of Eden story. Why? Because it was boring. I had trouble with a God who wouldn't get a charge out of watching the whole "thing climbs up out of the slime" process. It must have been a real trip to watch.

"thing climbs up out of the smile" sounds like an awesome horror movie.
