that will likely be left out of my defense, but if it comes up - I will tell them it was my duty as a New Yorker to fully express my opinion - 1st amendment protection
seriously, unless her bus was transparent, i couldnt see her stop sign, i was rolling by her at less than 5 MPH. shes a nutcase, called up the police, gave them my license plate #, and boom - now I have to go to court. Great country we live in... the best is - HOW DID THEY KNOW IT WAS ME DRIVING, i have multiple drivers listed on that car!!!
She probably gave them a description of me, and they looked up the drivers and the demographics and assumed it was me. Who fucking knows.
I'm going to call up, let them know I am fighting it. I'll ask if she has to be there, if they say no - I am requesting she be subpoenaed, so I can ask her questions. The court time is 8:30 AM, so she will have to take off of work, or not show up. Btw, there was NO police officer anywhere around, she simply called up, reported my license #, etc.
