While I do agree that "looting" can be the only way to survive after loosing everything, then even the looters must be aware about the difference of taking what you need to survive, and then taking things for personal gain.

Sure the media love to show bad human behavior, but there wouldn´t be anything to show, if people were not looting (looting jewelry stores are not survival - thats theft).

However I´m sure that there are much more important things to do, then going after looters.
