The "best information they had" was a THREE-YEAR-OLD address that they obviously didn't double check????
I rarely think this way but...I hope that family sues and wins big bucks.
The story did make me think of something:
During the Iran hostage crisis, my brother-in-law's family received numerous phone threats by people who had seen his "Middle Eastern name" in the phone book and called to say nasty things about "Arabs."
Well...it *is* a "Middle Eastern name."
However...it is also a Jewish Israeli name.
Talk about "dialing a wrong number."
