Supply and demand curve. Does demand end?
This is a breif recap of a thread I typed up earlier, when the machine decided to power down.
We all know this isn't 1997. When people go around throwing comments like "you could do it then, but not now" it's pretty safe to assume it's BS. People were spewing this kind of nonsense when I got into this business back in 2001.
People say these things to knock down the motivation of others, because of their own insecurities with their own innovation. Not because of actual lack of demand.
New surfers are constantly coming online, and coming of age. New consumers will always be available. With the introduction of new products, demand for niches previously unknown can be created. Markets can be created, thus demand can be created. This is simply a natural phenomenon known to the world of marketing and consumerism.
So how significant is the age-old and obviously ill-willed bad faith argument of "you can be successful then, but not now..."? Tons of people speak of this thing called oversaturation, but I think most are misinformed.
