with the Internet. I look fondly back on the early 90s, with my 14.4 connection to 'FreeNet'. My pine mail and my lynx browser.. it was all so simple then. Even before that I ran a BBS, remember those? Ahh, what fun it was being a sysop, the grand ruler of your own little world (I miss playing L.O.R.D!!). These boards remind me sometimes of the message forums that I had running... how strage it was to wait a day to read new posts to the threads (I only did a message run once a day). Trying out all the lastest ProBoard mods. And porn.. ohh I remember the first time I got onto an adult BBS.. all the low quality jpegs I could handle
