You charge what the market will bear. Overburden the market and they simply won't buy.

I haven't looked yet; but, if it's to keep the riff raff out, well, I'm sure they will accomplish that...and if they didn't do anything to the sponsors, well, the sponsors may well be the only ones in attendance.

Here's the thing....when sponsors were charging 50-60 dollars to get a membership, surfers stopped paying.
