This is one of the few shows I do watch. Interesting trivia: $35k to produce one half hour segment, Discovery buys it for $65k flat, no residuals.
World Poker started out at $40k/episode because of the numerous camera angles. Discovery bought it for $40k/episode the first season, $75k/episide the second season. I believe they are >$100k/episode + residuals (which Discovery supposedly never does) Not bad for an attorney with extra cash sitting around.
