And YES anyone that is your partner/owner/etc. should be eliminated from a competition. It is improper and in violation of almost every states contest laws.
You say that in hind sight you should give your partner an I-Pod and the guy that came in second. If you really believe that then you can still do that. Give the guy that came in #2 an I-pod... no hindsight is required for that gesture.
And finally, isn't it very convienient that you use CC-Bill as your processor but used your own "internal stats" to determine the winner since your partner does not use an affiliate code.
Look.... all that I'm saying is that if you want webmasters to trust you then you need to stay away from the apperance of improprioty. Right now it looks like you are up to your neck in shady dealings. No one is going to think you play fair just because you say you do.
