I am not an attorney, nor have I ever played one on television - but I've worked for enough to know that your best bet would be to drop all public conversations about this matter and any matters that developed from it.

FYI ... I almost went after Mr. Shaw for some of his sniveling sniping on GFY, but didn't think the insinuations he made deserved to be given any more attention; in the swirling toilet that is GFY, they just got ignored.
