Do Not run just ONE prog to clean malware! - I have many different
programs and run them often times back to back, you said spybot S & D,
OK, that's 1, and it's free, so also get (free) adaware (lavasoft)
and then others, mind, do more than sweep with spybot, do the immunize, too
and as for that have spywareblaster by javacool, better than spybot
for active protection, I have all these plus paid version of spysweeper (webroot)
which both does scans and active protection which they call shields,
I also have McAfee anti-spyware, also have "a squared" (free), = A^2
bazooka scanner for quick scan of a limited # of things (free),
and swatit (free / old / and maybe worthless now)
this is just for spyware/adware/malware.
...of course I have antivirus and a firewall too.....
cwshredder is worth getting too as it is free
