Spam nowadays is frnkly not work it on a risk/return basis for a large orgainised group.
It is very much up and down and incredibly high maintainance.
On top of which if you get good at it , you will piss off the powers that be.
But 9 yrs for spam. Oh comeon!
One day someone will win a lawsuit of biblical proportions.
Lets be frank...all this anti-spam shit had been created by AOL and microsoft cause they want a monopoly on it!!!
Why has nothing been done to stop junk snail mail? Fax mail? Those annoying bits that fall out of your newspaper?
When I was mailing:
I had people taking pictures of me leaving my office etc etc , some people became insanely obsessed.I mean you really wouldn't believe how obsessed.Some people (unpaid) would and still do try and hunt spammers 8 hours a day.
I haven't mailed in ages.
But I still see posts in antispam groups saying "Aha!! thats him!!" or "He's spamming IRC"
No I'm not.
Also explain to me the legality of me hosting my domains , say with MikeAI .
Within weeks he will be told by his upstream, "He is a Rokso spammer, we are cutting you off"
When I have not mailed , nothing.
Thats gotta be illegal.....
