I appreciate your candour.
However you are missing the mark.
Neither Gonzo nor I intend this board to become a den of theives and scoundrels.
In fact the opposite.
What I am trying to do with this board is firstly and foremostly make it a place where ALL apects of business can be discussed openly and plainly.
I am trying to remove the hypocricy so rife in this business.
Examples:
1.) in my mailing days...very very few adult program I tried were in anyway against receiving spam traffic.
Not a one. They would if challenged decry spam and spammers , yet they would merely cancel the account and then reissue , all the time using the famed "Yes we were without our permission being spammed , we cancelled the account"
I mean weasel pissed openly with KB about a mail list then , decryed spam and spammers.
2.) The amount of enquiries I have had from "legitmate" webmasters to teach them how to spam.
3.) The "Shaving" thread...that was to bring out into the open the fact that it is riff.We are not in the main newbs on this board.We are not as easily swayed as a gfyer who meet the program owner in Vegas , who bought him some dri nks , smiles sweetly and now shaves him blind.
The list is endless....
I want this board to be professional , without censorship , where young, old , newbie or veteran can chat and mingle swap ideas and network without suffering too greatly.
Where a sponsor can be called out and challenged openly.
Where if a wrong has been done it can be talked about.
If a webmaster thinks XXXtraffic has fucked them , I will not close the thread because:
1.) they are going to sue me for libel
2.) cause it does not follow the party line
3.) because they threaten too , and do , remove sponsorship of this board.
I am independent , finacially, from this board.I do not rely on its income.
Gonzo has a position with imho one of the most prestigious and honest programs existent , represented by a personal friend of mine (of whom on this web I have few)
Surely any good sponsor can defend his position and we have IN FACT SEEN THIS DONE in many threads.
This board should be FREE where legitmate and illegitmate strategys and tactics can be openly discussed.
What seems to have escaped you is the fact I am using my somewhat notorious and infamous reputation to further this end.
To be a Devils Advocate so to speak.
I openly admit to have used somne tactics that were riskee at the time...
I wanna see how many others (Ones I KNOW did and that I could substantiate in a court if necessary) have used those tactics but publicly refute there use.
In fact , Dr.Guile in summary , to an extent I want to turn from poacher to gamekeeper.
Oprano should become a board that doesn't pay to post , but it will certainly pay to post.
What if oprano undertook in the future to guarantee the performance of one member to the other?
What if Oprano deposited funds in escrow held for deals where one party was afraid he would not be paid and the other worried he would not receive the service.
What if Oprano formed an advisory committee?
What if Oprano elected members to positions of responsibility?
Would I have access to these , hell no. Bearing in mind my rep ;-))
The Ideas that are formulating between not only the owners of,but the current inner circle are incredible.
And many interesting meetings are going to be taking place in Vegas , of that I am sure.
My friend , and I class you as a friend because of your obvious inteligence and humour and depth in this business...
you underrate me....
Over the coming months , I hope to show opranauts , slowly , not just Nickatilynx but the "Jon" , the businessman and friend.
Why?
