Thankfully I was broke when the kid was growing up, so I neve had to worry about spoiling him
but he was the only grandchild and only nephew so he always got more than enough.
This year I gave him fun stuff - Japanese for Dummies Book and CD, a Spongebob UNO deck, chocolate orange, Santa Pez, calendar, etc.
When he was little, the boxes were always more fun to him :P
