Nopers, midgets is just little people. Just like normal folk, but tinier.
Dwarves on the other hand are like Hobbits and elves. Magic folk who live in the woods and up in the mountains and so forth. Usually pretty hairy (well, not elves except for the northernmost strain of hairy wood elves).
