1 can't survive without the other ... traffic isn't king if the traffic doesn't want to buy anything you are offering!
If you have good content, the traffic part is easy. but as the cookie cutter sites have learnt over the last 12 months, traffic, without somewhere good to send it, is just a bunch of freeloaders using up your bandwidth!
Or in hoopers case, a bunch of freeloaders whose surfing habits you can control by installing stuff on their machines!
We continue to make the mistake of ignoring what content *is*. Its anything that holds a surfers attention - even ads are content if they are done right.
Traffic is Traffic ...
Content is Content ...
