Your "Sir" rewminds me of my first day in the army...and our Drill Sgt's practrised speil:
"Gentlemen , and I use the term loosely , I will call you "Sir " as you are officer candidates.
You will call me "Sir" because I am your instructor.
The difference is you will MEAN it. "
