Awww, poor little guy! I don't see why he has to be in an entire chest-to-foot cast though from a broken leg, but if it helps it heal faster...

Teachers did the same thing to me in grade school, but made me stay the whole day because they didn't believe I'd hurt anything. (Broken arm.) Didn't even bother to call my Mom even though I was crying my eyes out and clutching my arm to my chest.

Hopefully he'll heal up quicker than they expect, one thing about boys is they bounce well and heal even better!
