Actually, in some cases it's NOT the same medicine
In addition, there are many generics in the US that aren't available in Canada and conversely, many generics available in Canada that aren't in the US.
And surely you've read a newspaper in the past 18 months - you're free to buy it in Canada. Ergo, if you're paying 40% for the same medicine, you're CHOOSING to do it, you're not being FORCED to do it. Back we go to "personal responsibility"
