You get warnings?!?! that is not what I would have expected.
30khp over the limit is about au$1000 plus 6 out of 12 demerit points lost for 2 years here. Radar detectors are illegal and the cops scan for them and we have thousands of fixed and mobile speed cameras too.. In one state the speed cameras are set 6kph over the speed limit.
Now I really see why so many people here complain about how our cops are just glorified revenue raisers.. I remember police did used to warn people about minor offences when I was a kid too!
