Argh! You guys aren't appreciating all the subtleties that are going on! The birthday party - Tony B's jealousy, dumping his kids on Carmela, Tony giving her Dad the gun, then being told it's crap in his own house, AJ having sex, Carmela standing up for Tony against her Mother, Tony and Carmela having sex, etc., not just Tony grilling!
That's good writing and a good story to be able to put all that into a few minutes in a B'day party scene.
