Two days ago my machine was bogging down like crazy even after restarts. I kept checking the task manager (ctrl-alt-del) and kept finding cpoker.exe listed in there even though I didn't have it open.
It wasn't in my startup file anywhere, don't know what was making it happen.
I just fired up apt and choice for a minute and shut them down, and checked my task manager - no cpoker.exe.
So I don't know what the deal was the other day; maybe something just got hung up in memory and wouldn't close properly. This might be what KC was seeing (haven't seen his other post).
Just for clarification, I do NOT think it has anything to do with spyware.

thank carrie for the info. There are poker boards out there and believe it or not the posters there are worst then sig whores(like myself). they go and find the littest flaw to bitch about so they can get their bonus money and then leave without thinking twice(bonus whores).
