My Daughter is 3 and I couldn't imagine laying even one finger on her.
She's very well behaved, most of the time, and we have never spanked or hit her. There are other ways to discipline.
Hitting a child is the ignorant mans way of handling things.
Yes, I was spanked as a kid and turned out fine.. But I wasn't spanked on a regular basis.
