If its about "protecting" the children, then I would like to see all news channels to drop broadcasting in those hours aswell... Children mix with puberty who are watching or listing to the news will think we are on the road to armageddon... I´m sure that leaves a % of all children depressed and worrying about the future, before they are adults.
Sure "bad" content should not be directly pushed to children, however as they get older, then they will get a hold of it - its called growing up. So why "over protect" children by trying it to make it disappear from the airways? (wouldn´t it be better to teach them what is "good" and "bad" content while you are with them to explain why?)
