I suspect that what you know about Vietnam is comprable to what I know about nuclear physics - which is to say, absolutely nothing. How, precisely, would you have won the war? Would you have gone nuclear? Would you have risked a war with China? Would you have weakened our strength in Europe where there really was a Soviet Union that could be tempted to take advantage of that weakness?

I am idly curious to know what the fuck you are talking about when you say the "poor condition of our military" during Vietnam. Are you going to do a Rumsfeld, and blame the folks who fought, too?
