Democracy is not worth fighting for in Middle east, its not worth having soldiers die for, they dont want it, let them be how they want to be and start saving lives on both sides, the world also needs to find a better fuel alternitive for oil...

Meat you had a good point. If these kinds of things continue, the US should threaten ( and follow through) with something extreme. Breaking up Iraq into multible countries could be possible. It is not like there are any traditional nations, the lines were randomly drawn not too long ago.
Give the north to the Kurds who seem to be the only ones who are responsible and not causing problems. Break up the central to a few states, and keep the south and the oil fields for our needs and base.
At times I wish we were not so highly advanced and would do what the Romans did when they had problems with enemies.
