My Dad offered to buy me a new car or pay for the wedding. I should have taken the car. :P
I will be the first to admit I married WAY too young - 20. Within the first year we had a baby, bought a house and started a business. Too much too soon. We were married for 2 years, then dated again about 2 years after our divorce for almost another year. It has forever imprinted upon me that I should really, really, really know someone before I marry them.
(and the kid was born almost exactly a year to the day of our first wedding anniversary for those who are too polite to ask :P )
