While I'm not the wine connoisseur some of you are ...
A friend brought over two bottles of 2000 Columbia-Crest Two Vines Merlot last night
and we enjoyed them very much!
I like a big strong flavor with hints of Oak and a (somewhat) smokey flavor
Edit - it didn't hurt that he also brought a bottle of Aberlour
