I try to get down to the rivers a few times during the spring and summer.... Favorite is Big Sugar Creek...
We do a big ass canoe trip every year on Father's Day weekend, for about the past 5 or 6 years, we have ended up at a campground way out on Big Sugar (used to do the other side of the state, got tired of tracking all the way down south of Rolla just to get rained out)...
Know a real nice little hole right ahead of a riffle that I manage to take a few keepers out of every year.
