13+ years in the telecom industry (MCI, Sprint, ATT reseller - that's how I met R_n - he was my customer in the 900 biz). Thankfully even when I started I had commercial accounts - not residential, but they loved to rip you a new one when their lines were down. :P After awhile, it's like water off a duck's back.
