Oh my - I don't think *I* have 16 pairs of shoes.
But I have wide feet with a high arch and it's VERY hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable and I absolutely refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes just because they look good. And I'd rather buy shoes that will last and I couldn't care less about the fashion aspect. Heck, I have a pair of Docksides from high school that I STILL wear. :P
