With 8 days left 'till Christmas, there are still unadopted kids on PattyeCake's list. First year it's gotten this close to the wire, and after talking to her tonight it looks like this will be the first year that all of the kids aren't adopted.
People (and businesses) are definitely scaling back the expenditures. Heck, I'd be happy with an Amazon gift certificate.
