Depends how you define "fun".
If you want to relax and bask in the sun and enjoy the water, go to the carribbean for sure. A bit more exciting than that?? Go to Hawaii, Its awesome there.
If you want to be physical like hiking or camping and enjoy nature, go the the mountains. Im in the US, so i go to the Blue Ridge Mountains to camp and bike/hike, etc. Its absolutely beautiful.
If you want to enjoy the high-life, well.. Vegas, Monte Carlo.. Either will suffice.
Into Culture? You have to go to Italy. This is a wonderful country, and so full of culture..
Just want to party mindlessly and ruin your body?? Go to Amsterdam.. Party Central
