Mmmmm, doughnuts to pizza, this thread is going to calorie hell in a handbasket!
I will stand by Krispy Kreme to my death. Try the filled doughnut and the chocolate glazed next time. You can be sure they will be fresh instead of Duncan's half day old variety.
For pizza I will have to say the best local NY pizza is a place called 2 Boots here in the city. Absofuckingloutly incredible.
I wish we had a Papa John's because they are the best of the chains to me.
But no pizza beats real Chicago pizza
in Chicago. to have a Pizzaria Uno's or Giordano's deep dish pizza is a life changing experience. A slice of that is a real meal.
